Yard / Warehouse Operative

Independent Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance Forklift License Preferred) – MKM

About the Role

This role is based in our external warehouse team and involves both operational duties and direct customer interaction.


Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers – delivering an outstanding experience every time
  • Providing excellent customer service – ensuring a positive working relationship
  • Loading & unloading vehicles efficiently and safely
  • Picking & checking orders with accuracy and care
  • Storing stock safely and organising warehouse layouts
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
  • Processing goods inbound deliveries
  • Organising warehouse operations to streamline workflow

Requirements & Desired Traits

  • Preferred: Counterbalance Forklift License
  • Advantageous: Building industry knowledge (any experience in construction, retail trade, or logistics welcome)
