Yard / Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Assistant – Yard/External Team Member

About the Role
In this role, you will be part of our external team, working directly with customers in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers
- Providing excellent customer service on a daily basis
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and checking orders for accuracy
- Storing stock safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and well-organised working environment
- Handling and processing goods received
- Assist with warehouse organisation and stock rotation

Requirements & Essential Qualities
Skills & Certificates (Preferred but Not Essential)
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (valued but not mandatory)
- Useful building/warehouse industry knowledge
Personality & Work Ethic
We are looking for individuals with:
- The ability to present a likeable and professional demeanour when dealing with customers and colleagues
- Excellent customer service skills
- strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving abilities
- A positive attitude to adapt to varying workloads
- Keen attention to detail when working with orders and stock
You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment with customers on a daily basis, so these qualities are essential.
Working Conditions
- Will involve working on alternate Saturday mornings
