Yard/Warehouse Operative – Huws Gray Barnsley Keep Things Moving Behind the Scenes

We couldn’t achieve this without our people. Now, we’re looking for a Yard/Warehouse Operative to join our Barnsley branch team.

Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Guide customers efficiently, offering friendly advice and sharing your expertise on our products
- Goods Handling: Manage deliveries with care, from checking in and storing stock safely to keeping the yard/warehouse tidy
- Operations Coordination: Work closely with delivery drivers, branch teams, and vehicle crews to ensure smooth internal and external logistics
- Facility Management: Maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and security in our yard and warehouse spaces

We’ll train you up—passion, preparedness, and a willingness to learn are all we require.
No prior experience necessary. A forklift licence is a plus, but not essential.
