Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer – YC Combinator-Backed Start-Up
Profitable & Hyper-Growth | Up to £140K | 3 Days Per Week in London
I am looking for Senior, Staff & Principal engineers to join a company with a clear mission: to make a positive change.
The Role
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle – from ideation and design, through implementation, deployment, feedback, and measurement.
- Communicate new features with internal/external stakeholders, gathering input pre-implementation and supporting product launches.
- Design/build intuitive, high-performance web interfaces for business users.
- Lead architectural decisions to improve scalability, observability, and codebase modularity.
- Maintain high code quality via testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers through pairing, reviews, and ongoing feedback.

Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript & Node.
- Full-stack engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, Express & PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record in high-pace early-stage businesses, including:
- Working entirely across the product development lifecycle.
- Taking high ownership & accountability.
- Problem-solving, product engineering mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of frontend/backend best practices.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
