We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham, Kent on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to providing engaging learning experiences and supporting children through this important stage of their education.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning within Year 1
- Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Have high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- Support children's transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Demonstrate strong classroom organisation and effective communication skills
