Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working closely with an incredible 2 form entry Primary School who are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to work from February Term 4..
This school is based in the BS34 area of South Gloucestershire.
This school recognises differences really well, and uses their curriculum to provide equality and cultural respect for their pupils to reflect and value friendships and diversity of people present in their schools.
The Role
The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is eager to join the team to support, encourage and develop staff and children around you.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a KS1 class as the other Year 1 Teacher is an ECT so we are looking for someone who has a great understanding of the KS1 curriculum and is creative with their lesson planning.

You will be expected to:
- Have great knowledge of Phonics and the screening test.
- Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development.
- Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
- Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
Working with Long-term Teachers:

Salary: 31000 - 49000 GBP Per annum
