Year 1 Teacher
(QTS Required) - Full-Time | September Start | Welling, Bexley
Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS essential) to join a welcoming primary school in Welling, Bexley on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners during a crucial stage of their education. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be confident delivering high-quality phonics teaching using Letters and Sounds. Previous experience teaching phonics is essential.

The Role
- Full-time Year 1 Class Teacher
- September start
- Based in Welling, Bexley
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Year 1 curriculum
- Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress
- Deliver high-quality phonics sessions using the Letters and Sounds programme
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school or successful completion of teacher training placements
- Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1 is highly desirable
- Essential experience delivering phonics using the Letters and Sounds programme
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for supporting every child to reach their full potential
