A 3-form entry Primary School located in the Borough of Wandsworth is seeking a Year 2 Primary Teacher / Year 2 Primary ECT to join their team for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent position with a contract directly via the School.
As a leading training Primary School graded Outstanding across all areas in their latest Ofsted report, it is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and hardworking Year 2 Primary Teacher / Year 2 Primary ECT eager to progress their career.

Job Description
Role: Year 2 Primary Teacher / Year 2 Primary ECT / Year 2 Primary NQT Mission: Inspiring and motivating young learners Additional Roles: Subject, Year Group, and Phase Lead Start Date: September 2026 Contract Duration: Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: £39,070 - £55,571 (including TLR) Location: Borough of Wandsworth
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Primary curriculum
- Shows passion and creativity for teaching and inspiring young minds
- A solid knowledge of teaching standards
- Achieved ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in lesson observations
