A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential.
About the Role
- Teaching a lively and enthusiastic Year 2 class
- Long term position with the view to becoming permanent
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Supporting pupils through their KS1 SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff and leadership to promote progress and wellbeing
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment

About You
- Qualified Teacher with experience teaching KS1 (Year 2 experience highly desirable)
- Confident in preparing children for KS1 SATs and raising attainment
- Passionate about delivering creative, differentiated and purposeful learning experiences
- Strong behaviour management and a commitment to high standards
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- A team player who is enthusiastic, reflective and driven
