Year 3 Primary Teacher - Rugeley
Long Term Role: September 2026 to May 2027
A thriving, reputable primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Primary Teacher to join their welcoming team on a long-term basis from September 2026 through to May 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, warm, and welcoming school environment that values high-quality teaching, positive relationships, and engaging, enriching learning experiences for all children.
What the role includes:
- Full-time Year 3 Primary Teacher responsibilities.
- Long-term role from September to May 2027.
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Planning and marking responsibilities; in line with the school's policies.
- Attend two parents' evening; creating and fostering strong relationships with parents and pupils.
- No after-school clubs will be required.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has had experience teaching within the KS2 age range (ECT's are welcome).
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills; creating a calm, structured, and positive learning environment where high expectations for behaviour and learning are consistently maintained.
- Is passionate about creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom culture that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of every child.
- Is confident in adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
- Works effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues, support staff, parents, and the wider school community.
- Is organised, reliable, and committed to carrying out planning, preparation, assessment, and marking responsibilities to a high standard.
- Contributes positively to the ethos and values of the school.

Pay:
£130 - £170 a day, holiday pay is included in the day rate. Pay is dependent upon experience and the responsibilities expected to be carried out throughout the long-term role.
