Islington September 2026 Start Permanent Opportunity
A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school where high-quality teaching, pupil wellbeing, and professional development are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition from Key Stage 1 into Lower Key Stage 2.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in a Year 3 class
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Have high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil progress
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan for individual learning needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Be committed to contributing to the wider school community

- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Supporting pupils with the transition from Key Stage 1 to Lower Key Stage 2
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
