The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that motivate pupils and promote excellent academic progress. You will be responsible for planning an exciting curriculum, assessing learning effectively, and creating a classroom where every child feels supported and challenged.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Track, assess, and report on pupil progress throughout the academic year.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school community.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Year 5 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's academic and personal development.
