Teaching Tomorrow are delighted to be working with a good primary school in Milton Keynes, looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a long term basis from April for the summer term. This primary school are looking for someone to start in April on a full-time basis, with the role including planning and marking responsibilities. This role would be perfect for both an ECT and a Fully Qualified Teacher looking for the perfect Year 5 role, in a lovely area of Milton Keynes. Teaching Tomorrow are an agency with a great reputation within Milton Keynes and have a strong relationship with this primary school, ensuring great support throughout the process of this Year five role. Access to a supportive and dedicated team Opportunities for long-term placements and permanent positions Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT Strong and successful Year 5 / Key Stage 2 teaching experience Must be available 5 days a week Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students, fostering a positive learning environment. Utilise strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Implement behaviour management strategies to support student development and maintain classroom discipline. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching practices. Uphold the standards of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in all teaching activities. Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants are subject to pre-employment checks including satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. We offer payment via both Umbrella and PAYE Services. Salary: 170 - 250 GBP Per day
