A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Reading is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026. The Role
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire pupils. You will foster a positive classroom atmosphere, monitor progress effectively, and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that support outstanding pupil progress.
- Assess, record, and monitor attainment to inform future planning.

Candidate Profile
The ideal Year 5 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
- A commitment to maintaining high expectations and promoting pupil success.
