Year 6 Teacher
Year 6 Class Teacher - Permanent Position
Chatham, Kent
Start Date: September 2026
Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Chatham from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who has high expectations for learning, achievement and behaviour, and who is committed to helping pupils reach their full potential during this important stage of their primary education.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a calm, purposeful learning environment
- Be confident in preparing pupils for SATs while maintaining an engaging and broad curriculum
- Have high expectations of pupil progress and attainment
- Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
