Role: Year 6 Teacher

Contract: Two Term
Academics are actively recruiting for an ambitious and dedicated teacher for a two term contract at a two-form entry school on the borders of Hatfield.
The school are currently rated as good by OFSTED.
The class you will be teaching is a mixed class of pupils with various levels of abilities, therefore we require a teacher capable of ensuring each pupil reaches their full potential.

As a teacher, we are seeking a teacher with the following attributes:
- Great understanding of the UK National Curriculum and other statutory requirements.
- Can cope securely with subject-related questions which pupils raise.
- Able to identify clear teaching objectives, content, lesson structures and sequences appropriate to the subject matter.
- Set appropriate expectations for pupils' learning and motivation.
- Ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals.
- Use teaching methods which keep pupils engaged.
- Set high expectations for pupils' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline.
