Year 6 Teacher - Chester

Chester | September Start | Experienced Teachers & ECTs Welcome

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for your next opportunity in Upper Key Stage 2? We are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Chester area from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a school that is committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring every child reaches their full potential as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

The Role

  • Full-time Year 6 Teacher position
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and Year 6 expectations
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
  • Previous Year 6 experience is desirable but not essential
  • ECTs/NQTs with a passion for Upper KS2 are encouraged to apply
