The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, with particular focus on preparing pupils thoroughly for SATs whilst maintaining the breadth and enjoyment of learning throughout the year. You will use assessment data to track individual progress, support transition into secondary school, and build the strong, trusted relationships with pupils and families that make Year 6 such a rewarding year group to teach.
What the School is Looking For
This permanent Year 6 Teacher position will suit candidates who:
- Hold British QTS or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
- Graduated with a 2:1 or above from a reputable UK university
- Have classroom experience within a UK primary school setting, ideally with UKS2 or Year 6 experience through placements or a substantive post
- Show clear evidence of structured lesson delivery and strong pupil progress in core subjects
- Are confident managing SATs preparation alongside a broad and balanced curriculum
- Are legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available

Salary & Contract
Inner London MPS: £40,317 to £52,300, with UPS up to £62,496. TLR opportunities may be available for candidates with relevant subject or phase leadership experience.
