- Supporting the class teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
- Working with small groups to reinforce key literacy and numeracy skills ahead of SATs

Year 6 Teaching Assistant - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Year 6 Teaching Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience in a UK primary school setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a proactive, nurturing, and committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners at this pivotal stage.

- £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
- Term-time only
- Potential for extended contracts or teacher training pathways following a successful placement
