Yield Engineer – Greenock - Renfrewshire - £35,000 - £45,000 - Semiconductors
Are you a talented engineer with a passion for semiconductors? A leading technology firm in Greenock is seeking a Semiconductor Yield Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative projects to improve efficiency of production lines.
About the Role
As a Semiconductor Yield Engineer, you will be instrumental in improving the yield of semiconductor products. This involves:
- Analysing production data
- Identifying yield detractors
- Implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency

Requirements
You will have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Additionally, candidates should have:
- Proven experience in yield engineering or a similar role
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
