YouTube Lead | Premium Podcast & Creator Media
Hybrid Working - 2 - 3 days per week
We're partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing creator-led media businesses to appoint a YouTube Lead who will own the growth strategy across a portfolio of premium podcast and video channels.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who lives and breathes YouTube—combining audience insight, data, creativity and experimentation to drive significant subscriber growth, watch time and engagement across multiple market-leading shows.
Working closely with editorial, production, marketing and commercial teams, you'll define the YouTube roadmap and build scalable strategies that maximise the performance of both new and existing content.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a long-term YouTube growth strategy across multiple channels and premium content brands.
- Leading and mentoring a team of Channel Managers, providing strategic direction and performance coaching.
- Driving audience growth through data-led optimisation of titles, thumbnails, publishing strategy and viewer retention.
- Using analytics and audience insight to identify opportunities and continually improve channel performance.
- Working cross-functionally with production and editorial teams to maximise the impact of every episode.
- Acting as the internal YouTube expert, staying ahead of platform developments, algorithm changes and emerging trends.

We're looking for someone who has:
- A proven track record growing YouTube channels at scale, ideally across podcasts, creators or premium digital media.
- Strong leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in YouTube Analytics, audience development and content optimisation.
- A naturally curious, commercially minded and highly analytical approach with a passion for building engaged online communities.
