Young Adult Support Worker

Young Adult Support Worker

Location: Falkirk

(with travel to Cumbernauld to support a service user in attending college)

Contract Type

  • Full-time (30 hours minimum per week)

Salary

  • £13.45 per hour, plus paid mileage
  • Additional benefits:

About the Role

As a Young Adult Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care to a Young Adult in Falkirk, helping them regain independence in their own home and within the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation and basic cooking
  • Light household tasks
  • Social visits (e.g., attending college, day centres, shopping)
  • Companionship and emotional support

What We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence, with access to a personal car and insurance
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship currently unavailable)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts following a 4-day on, 4-day off rotation
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Excellent English communication skills
