Young Parents' Midwife - 37.5 hours/week

Are you looking for new prospects in your midwifery career or an opportunity for development? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated NMC registered midwife to join our team. This is an exciting chance to use and develop your knowledge, skills, and experience of supporting young parents and contribute to experience and outcomes for a caseload of parents and their babies.

We are looking for a confident and well-organized midwife to join us in this role to ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective, evidence-based care and patient experience. You will provide specialist advice within the acute and community areas, acting as a role model, and having appropriate knowledge to navigate the complex support services that are available for young parents, working closely with neighbouring Trusts, Local Authority services, and other internal and external agencies.

Role Overview

The Young Parents’ Midwife (YPM) will act as a professional resource for young parents and their families, for all young pregnant persons aged 18 or under at the time of EDD (estimated date of delivery). The Young Parents’ Midwife will be the lead professional for the Young Parents’ service and will manage a caseload to provide midwifery care throughout the pregnancy and postnatal pathway – including the planning, implementation, and evaluation of personalised care offered in partnership with the young parents and the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
