Role Overview
We are looking for calm, patient, and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition and are keen to join our friendly care team.
You will be expected to:
- Provide care at a high standard.
- Help residents and ensure you are always there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential for this role, as the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting is the primary factor.
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to:
- Demonstrated maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework.
- Accept responsibility.
- Handle stress.
- Grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
- Follow agreed guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience and any relevant qualifications in care are preferred, however not essential.
- Full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
Shift Requirements
- Be flexible to cover a mixture of:
- Days,
- Nights,
- Sleep-in shifts,
- Waking watches.
- Care is provided 24 hours, 7 days a week, requiring coverage on both weekdays and weekends.
- Availability will determine work allocation.
Role Description: Support Worker/Care Assistant
You will have the opportunity to undertake the responsible role of being a Support Worker/Care Assistant. Responsibilities include:
- Plan alongside members of the person’s circle of support to help individuals:
- Be happy,
- Healthy,
- Achieve their wishes and aspirations.
- Engage in person-centred planning meetings and processes co-produced with the people we support and their families.
- Collectively set: meaningful and inspirational goals that Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards.
