Young People Support Worker

Supporting Young Lives Through Understanding and Care

At Paragon Social Care, we provide round-the-clock support to children and young people in local authority care, particularly during times of crisis, transition, and uncertainty. Our work centres on creating safe, stable environments where young people can rebuild trust, develop resilience, and achieve positive futures.

We are currently recruiting Children’s Support Workers across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a rewarding but demanding position, supporting children and young people with a range of emotional and behavioural needs. We are seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who can:

  • Build professional, trusting relationships
  • Maintain consistent emotional support during challenging moments
  • Provide trauma-informed care in residential and community-based settings

You will work as part of a supportive team to deliver interventions that foster stability and growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
