Are you a Substance Misuse Worker looking to change the lives of young people?

We have a great opportunity for a full-time worker to join the Royal Borough of Greenwich Young Persons Substance Misuse Service delivering Brief Interventions and Psychosocial Treatment.

About the Role

You will be a highly motivated and committed individual with excellent assessment, analytical, and report writing skills. You are curious and tenacious about your engagement with young people (10-18) and be able to work effectively with children’s social workers, and professionals from other agencies including Early Help, CAMHS, and Housing. You must have experience of managing your own caseload, using initiative, and working to deadlines. You will have an understanding of alcohol, opiates, non-opiates, and other substances and the impact they can have on children and young people throughout their lives. You have experience and understanding of appropriate interventions to help Young People in their Substance use.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and skilled team working in a specialized area of Children’s Services. You will make a real difference to children’s lives and build a fulfilling and meaningful career.
