Youth Co-ordinator - Youth Trailblazer - Ref: CH03626

G7: £35,412 - £38,220 per annum.

Fixed-term contract until 31/03/27 with a possibility to extend until 31/03/28.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their ambitions? We are looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-focused and proactive Youth Co-ordinator to connect young people aged 14–29 with employment, training, apprenticeships, internships and work experience opportunities. Working with educators, employers, training providers, DWP and community organisations, you will help create pathways into education, training and sustainable employment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Mapping and promoting the local and regional youth offer.
  • Building partnerships with schools, colleges, employers and providers.
  • Coordinating outreach and engagement activities.
  • Supporting internships, apprenticeships and work placements.
  • Developing and maintaining youth opportunities.
  • Monitoring outcomes, producing reports and case studies.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve services and outcomes.

About You:

You will have experience of shaping and influencing projects or programmes within skills, employment, education or economic development, alongside excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills. Passionate about creating better opportunities for young people, you will be confident building relationships across a wide range of partners and stakeholders. You'll bring energy, drive and a commitment to making a difference, together with the adaptability and resilience needed to succeed in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
