Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months

Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £25,092.00 to £28,783.00 dependent on your skills, knowledge and experience

Would you like to be part of a highly collaborative team, working together to support young people into employment outcomes? We are looking for a Youth Development Lead to join our Health and Social Care Delivery Team in Plymouth.

Your role will be to deliver a range of employability programmes and recruitment activities that support young people into careers within the health and social care sector. You will work closely with employers, training providers, and community partners to create pathways into employment while providing tailored guidance and support to participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of young people
  • Providing one-to-one coaching, action planning, and ongoing support to help them achieve positive employment outcomes into the health and social care sector
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with health and social care employers, training providers, and local stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants
  • Keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners to ensure compliance with funding contracts

Additional Responsibilities

  • Leading the charge in creating an environment where everyone feels seen by implementing a local action plan that supports our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion goals
  • Deputising when the need arises
