Role Description

The Youth Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering youth-focused programs and initiatives that align with Battari Media’s mission and community engagement efforts. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Youth Lead will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate youth perspectives into campaigns, gather feedback, and report on program outcomes. The role also involves:

  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders
  • Documenting activities
  • Continuously improving youth offerings based on emerging needs

Qualifications

  • Skills in Youth Leadership and Youth Work, with experience guiding and mentoring young people in group and individual settings.
  • Skills in Youth Programs, including planning, organizing, and evaluating structured activities or initiatives for youth.
  • Strong Communication skills, with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and engage diverse youth audiences and stakeholders.
  • Social Work-related skills or experience, such as understanding youth development, safeguarding practices, and community support resources.
  • Relevant experience in youth-focused roles within education, community organizations, or non-profits is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of digital culture and social media trends among young people is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in the London Area, manage multiple programs, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • A relevant qualification in youth work, social work, education, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
