Role Purpose
This role exists to lead and develop a vibrant youth ministry, building environments where discipleship and spiritual growth are central. Through engaging midweek and Sunday gatherings, as well as creative outreach initiatives, the aim is to nurture faith in new believers, challenge and stretch those already on their journey, and empower all young people to live Spirit-filled, missional lives in their everyday contexts.

Beyond the church walls, this role is outward-facing and pioneering developing strategies to reach young people across the city, including detached youth work in central spaces. By building authentic relationships and creating accessible environments through sport, creativity, and shared experience, the mission is to meet young people where they are and walk with them toward where they could be.

Ultimately, this role is about more than programmes or events, it’s about seeing lives transformed. Seeing young people encountering the good news of Jesus, growing in discipleship, and stepping out with confidence to live and share their faith, helping bring the reality of “on earth as in heaven” into the lives of young people across the city.
Role Details
The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and salary is graded from £26,500 to £29,000 per annum. Applicants typically start at the beginning of the pay scale but we are open to negotiation dependent on experience. Please state on application your salary expectation.
