St Mary Bredin is a vibrant, evangelical, Anglican church in the heart of Canterbury city. We are looking for a Youth Pastor (to cover maternity leave) with a clear gift for sharing the gospel with and discipling the young people of our community. You’ll be part of a supportive staff team, with a committed team of volunteers, looking to ‘be holy and be a blessing’.

We Seek a Youth Pastor Who Has

  • A deep, vibrant and secure personal relationship with God
  • A passion and gift for sharing the Good News of Jesus with young people.
  • A confidence in the gospel as the power of God for salvation.
  • A deep trust in the scriptures as the Word of God.
  • Good communication skills, is self-motivated and organised.
  • Experience of working with young people in a church context, and understands the importance of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable people.
  • A track record of working well in teams and leading teams.
  • Encouragement and support for parents.

Salary: £25-32,000 (per annum) depending on experience – 6 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
