Youth Services Coordinator role: Fixed Term, 12 month contract (to be extended if funding secured) Flexible working: 7.5 hours per week including attendance at Youth Club sessions.
Are you an experienced youth work coordinator looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Are you passionate about building children and young peoples’ awareness and self-confidence?
We're looking for an enthusiastic Youth Services Coordinator to help lead our brilliant youth offer, including The Key Club (for 8–11-year-olds) and Tea & Toasties (our after-school drop-in for young people aged 12+).
This is much more than organising activities (although there'll be plenty of games, laughter and creativity too). You'll coordinate sessions, support our team of youth workers and volunteers, help develop our services and make sure every young person who walks through the door feels welcome.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
