Youth Support Worker

Hourly Rate

About the Role

The Youth Support Worker position offers sessional, enjoyable, and flexible evening or weekend sessions (2.5 hours per session) across Nottinghamshire. This role is ideal for those with a passion for working with young people and a desire to make a positive difference in their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Build Bonds: Develop positive professional relationships with young people.
  • Engage Enthusiastically: Create fun, engaging activities that encourage participation.
  • Understand Issues: Recognise and address modern challenges faced by young people.
  • Guide Growth: Help young people make informed and healthy decisions about their future.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in working with young people (no formal qualifications required).
  • Basic awareness of youth-focused social issues.
  • Flexibility & adaptability in different situations.

A plus if you have experience in youth work, mentoring, or related fields.
