Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Wandsworth – ASAP Start
£115–£120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
A mainstream secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) to provide behavioural and pastoral support to students.
This role involves:
- 1:1, in-class, and out-of-class support for students with challenges
- Strong emphasis on building rapport to manage challenging behaviour
- Close collaboration with school teams, including SEN and SENCO
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral mentorship to students requiring additional support
- Work actively with students presenting challenging behaviour, supporting their progress both in and out of the classroom
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships while applying practical behavioural strategies
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, working alongside colleagues in behaviour support and other departments

Preferences for this Role
- Ideal candidates will have:
- At least 1 year of experience with young people, preferably in a school setting
- Proven behaviour management skills
- Team Teach or Physical Restraining Training is desirable but not mandatory
