About You’ve Got This
You’ve Got This is South Tees’ Sport England Place Partnership — a vibrant, community-rooted programme working across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland to get more people active and help physical activity become a lasting part of everyday life. From Greater Eston to North Ormesby, YGT is building something real and sustainable, and we’re looking for someone to help us grow it.
The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves working with people, thrives in a community setting, and wants their work to have genuine local impact.
As Assistant Programme Officer, you’ll be right at the heart of the programme — supporting the delivery of funded initiatives, leading key workstreams in our Community Focus Areas, and building the partnerships that help activity stick long after the funding ends. You’ll also be the voice of YGT on LinkedIn, help organise events and learning conferences, contribute to our monitoring and evaluation work, and play a hands-on role in sharing everything we learn across the wider partnership.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
