Zara Home Assistant Manager – Zara Home (Full Time)
Reporting to: General Manager / Deputy Manager
About the Role
As an Assistant Manager at Zara Home, you play a key role in supporting the General Manager and Deputy Manager to run the store efficiently, ensuring operational excellence, a positive team environment, and a world-class customer experience.
You will:
- coordinate daily shop floor activities,
- supervise colleagues, and
- contribute to achieving commercial objectives while maintaining Zara Home’s high standards.
We are looking for individuals who are:

Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism, ensuring inclusivity in all interactions.
- Support the team to drive sales, add-on opportunities, and engagement across multiple channels.
- Resolve customer concerns effectively, escalating when necessary, and ensuring all customers feel heard and valued.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adapt to trends, customer preferences, and store priorities.

Stock, Delivery & Merchandising
- Manage daily replenishment, deliveries, and stock organization efficiently, promoting teamwork and shared responsibility.
- Allocate new products on the shop floor and brief the team on placement, priorities, and product features.
- Organize overstock according to company policies and maintain an orderly stockroom.
- Work with the Merchandising team to maintain visual standards, store layout, and fixtures, ensuring a welcoming and accessible environment.
- Use stock management systems accurately to support operational efficiency.
People, Team & Culture
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive team culture where all colleagues feel valued and empowered.
- Assist in coaching, mentoring, training, onboarding, and developing team members.
- Participate in recruitment, induction, and retention of diverse talent.
- Encourage participation in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the workplace experience.
- Model Zara Home values, ethics, and sustainability practices in daily actions.
Operations, Health & Safety
- Support store procedures, security, cost control, and maintenance processes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and accessible environment for colleagues and customers.
- Promote health and safety awareness, understanding the roles of First Aiders and Safety Champions.
- Encourage practices that protect the well-being of all team members and customers.

Experience & Skills
Experience
- Proven experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience supervising or managing a diverse team.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales and deliver commercial results.
- Awareness of market trends, competitors, and customer expectations.
