Zara is pace, product and precision. We bring trend-led collections to life fast—powered by sharp store teams who read the customer, react in real time, and turn insight into impact on the shop floor.
The role

This is a full-time, store-based role, reporting to the Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager.
What you’ll be doing
- Build a strong weekly + weekend commercial strategy with Pilot Manager and Regional Support, aligned to country direction and tailored to your store profile.
- Lead commercial actions and workshops and drive implementation at pace.
- Own analysis across all categories, using daily/weekly trading to plan ahead.
- Plan and deliver newness launches (collections and lines), ensuring the floor is merchandised to guidelines and standards.
- Keep one eye on trends and competitors, feeding back to Store Director / National / Product teams.
- Be confident with commercial tools (Ranking, 78, Retail App, alerts, ITX stock, delivery app) and use them to hit budgets.
- Manage destocking and capacity devolutions to protect a commercial, active stockroom.
- Drive customer experience projects and the KPIs that measure them.
- Develop the team: train, spot potential, support progression—always leading by example on service and standards.
- Be an ambassador for sustainability, keeping the store informed and supporting innovation in this area.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
