Join Our Team as a Helpdesk Switchboard Operator!

Salary: 12.59 Per Hour
Contract Type: Casual
Are you calm under pressure, confident on the phone, and great with people? We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Helpdesk/Switchboard Operator to join our fast-paced communications team. You’ll be the crucial first point of contact for internal and external callers and play a key role
What You’ll Do
- Operate a computer-based Switchboard system
- Handle all calls and requests
- Monitor and respond to alarms, including fire, trauma, and security alerts
- Maintain clear and accurate records
- Support with clerical / admin duties
- Work independently responding confidently to emergencies

What You’ll Need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations
- Good computer literacy and organisation skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Previous office or switchboard experience
- Be adaptable and easily embrace changing priorities
- Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
- Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
