Join Our Team as a Support Officer

Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the safe, secure and professional delivery of events, while also contributing to a positive customer experience for employees, clients, visitors and guests. The role requires a confident, approachable and proactive individual who can balance security awareness with excellent customer service and engagement.

About The Role

As a Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Engage confidently, professionally and positively with employees, clients, visitors and guests, ensuring a welcoming and reassuring security presence at all times.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by assisting with directions, visitor queries, queue management, event flow and general support where required.
  • Maintain a visible and approachable presence, using proactive engagement to help prevent issues from escalating and to support a safe and positive event experience.
  • Support the delivery of security operations by logging, escalating and reporting all incidents, including health and safety matters, using the Client's reporting software and agreed site processes.
  • Conduct regular patrols and checks of assigned areas, ensuring that any concerns are reported promptly and appropriate action is taken.
  • Support front-of-house and event teams where required, helping to maintain good communication, smooth visitor movement and a consistent standard of service.

What We Are Looking For

  • Door Supervisor SIA Licence
  • Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, events, front-of-house or security environment
  • Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to interact confidently with a wide range of people
  • Ability to think and act quickly, calmly and appropriately during emergencies or under pressure.
  • Good observational skills and the ability to identify and report potential risks or concerns.
