Overview

Seeking a wonderful live-in companion/personal assistant for a bright, independent and engaged lady with early-stage dementia. The role will start end August/early September, with the weekly schedule likely to be Monday 12pm through to Friday 12pm. The principal lives in Holland Park, London, and some experience and understanding of dementia would be helpful.

Responsibilities

The principal is active, independent and enjoys art, culture, outings and social gatherings. The role is very much about being an engaged and interested companion, while also helping keep on top of appointments and taking on some aspects of managing the home. The principal is very capable of getting herself up and ready in the mornings, of taking her dogs for a walk, and with preparing herself light snacks, meals and drinks. She also doesn't need overnight support. However there are moments of forgetfulness, and a change to the daily routine can be tricky to navigate. Responsibilities will therefore likely include (but are not limited to):

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
