Receptionist – Cardiff Premier Inn (ZIP) Hotel
We're currently recruiting for a multi-skilled Receptionist to work at Zip by Premier Inn in Cardiff, with a 32-hour per week permanent contract. Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour.
About the Role
Come and be the friendly face of our hotel! In this role, you’ll use your customer service skills and personality to welcome guests and ensure they feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Whether it’s serving cocktails, meals or helping with bedrooms, your main focus will be to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. No prior hospitality or reception experience is required—immediate start available!
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Assist with food and beverage orders, including cocktails and dining
- Provide guidance on room service and amenities
- Use your diplomatic communication skills to resolve guest queries
- Support reservations and administrative tasks as needed

What the Role Involves
You’ll be the welcome face of our hotel, handling everything from check-ins to making meals and cocktails in the lobby area. Key responsibilities include:
Get help with your application

- Welcoming and assisting guests with check-ins and check-outs
- Providing passionate & personalised service to ensure they leave satisfied
- Supporting with food and drinks handling (cocktails, refreshments)
- Explaining amenities and assisting with any restroom-related inquiries
- Supporting operational duties where needed
