Closing date for applications is: 27th Jul 2026

Contact: Imogen White (Imogen@amazonazoo.co.uk)
Sector: Animal Care
Type: Paid
Contract type: Full-time
Salary: Supplied on application

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small team here at Amazona Zoo. Established in 2008, Amazona Zoo is home to just South American species - housing Jaguar, Puma, Spider Monkeys, Caiman, Green Anaconda, Chilean Flamingo and much more. Located in beautiful Cromer, on the North Norfolk coast, we are looking for a full time keeper to join the team and work with our wide range of animals.

The candidate must be able to deliver an excellent standard of animal husbandry, as well as the skills to communicate passionately about the animals in our care and the conservation projects we support. It will be advantageous for the candidate to have worked previously with some of the species we house here.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
