Assistant Head of Nursery - Bingham

Early Years Leader

Hours: 40 hours per week

Ready to lead with passion, purpose, and heart? We’re looking for a dedicated Early Years Leader to guide our team, support our families, and champion the best start in life for every child.

About Us

Established in 1993, Cherubs Nurseries is a family-run business on a mission to give all children the personalities, skills, and experiences they need to take on the world, without limitations. Central to our approach—inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio Emilia, and Forest School—is our Community Life work, which aims to make the communities we serve better places to live, work, and grow up in.

We know it takes a village to raise a child and want our nurseries to be reflective of our communities. We champion diversity in the early years sector and drive to increase the presence of men in early years, collaborating closely with MITEY.

Why Work at Cherubs Nurseries?

  • Family-run business with big-company benefits
  • Personalised professional development and continuous training
  • Experienced teams with strong support for new hires
  • Internal progression opportunities within your nursery or across the group
  • Exceptional early years environments aligned with our curriculum
  • Proactive and forward-thinking culture committed to a great workplace

About Cherubs Bingham

Cherubs Bingham is the newest addition to the Cherubs Nurseries family. As we expand to a 100+ capacity nursery, we’re responding to the growing community demand. The nursery benefits from great transport links (bus, train, and road).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
