Bar or Waiting Team Member – Part-Time Position at The Waterfront
Contemporary Pub & Restaurant – West Hoe, Plymouth

About The Role
A part-time opportunity to join one of Plymouth’s most coveted stop-offs! Call us passionate – we ensure your time behind the bar or welcoming guests isn’t just about pouring drinks or serving meals, but about crafting cherished experiences and building relationships with regulars.
Key responsibilities include maintaining a smooth front-of-house flow, upholding the pub’s excellent standards, and embodying The Waterfront’s warm and welcoming ethos.
Responsibilities
- Bar Team Member:
- Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced pub environment
- Ensuring efficient drink preparation—beers, wines, spirits—and cash-handling accuracy
- Operating POS systems and managing bar inventory
- Supporting with opening and closing duties, stock checks, and general maintenance

- Waiting Team Member:
- Plating and serving delicious meals with a top-notch customer experience
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure orders “just right!”
- Maintaining high service standards while keeping meals hot and finished on time
- Assisting with front-of-house table turns, cleansing, and cleanliness policies
