Biology Researcher (Masters/PhDs)

Biology Researcher (Masters/PhDs) – AI Training

About The Role

What if your years of training in biology could directly shape how AI understands the science of life — from genetic mechanisms to breakthrough biotechnologies? We're looking for Biology Experts with advanced degrees to tackle complex, real-world problems that help the world’s leading AI models reason more accurately across the life sciences.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers and scientists who want to put their expertise to work on something genuinely meaningful — without leaving the lab behind entirely.

Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
  • Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design complex, nuanced problem statements
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve how AI models reason through life science challenges
  • Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all your contributions
  • Help define the standard of biological knowledge that next-generation AI systems are trained on

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
