Location: Hybrid – Camberley (2–3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Role: Cloud Security Analyst
You’ll join a Security & IT Operations team, securing AWS-hosted systems while growing into a highly capable Cloud Security Engineer. Hands-on and mentored, the role bridges security and cloud operations, offering exposure to enterprise-scale AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure AWS cloud environments aligned with security best practices.
- Monitor AWS security services (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, Detective) to detect threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
- Assist with IAM, RBAC, and MFA implementation for robust identity and access controls.
- Support vulnerability assessments, remediation programmes, and security patching.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Platform teams to integrate security into cloud services.
- Aid in internal/external security audits and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks).
- Assist with incident response and enhance security processes iteratively.
- Ensure sensitive customer data security via hardened protocols and best practices.

About You
This role values potential and initiative as much as technical expertise.
Ideal Candidates Have:
- 18 months–3 years’ commercial experience in Cloud/Infrastructure/IT Operations/Cyber Security.
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on AWS experience and a deep understanding of cloud security principles.
- Proactive attitude—eager to learn, solve challenges, and progress.
- Analytical mind with collaborative communication skills.
- Curiosity about cloud technologies and a clear ambition for career growth in Cloud Security.
