About the Role
Hillcrest Homes is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to lead the Planned and Specialist Contracts Team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the procurement, delivery and performance of planned maintenance, compliance, and building safety contracts across more than 9,500 homes, including supported accommodation, commercial properties, and offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver major investment and compliance programmes, ensuring:
- Excellent customer outcomes
- Value for money
- Complete regulatory compliance
- Lead a team of asset management professionals in shaping the Asset Management Strategy.
- Align with sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives.
- Provide senior management and board assurance on contracts and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and internal operations.
About You
Interested candidates should be experienced asset management professionals with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating safe, high-quality homes.

Essential Criteria
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in:
- Construction Management
- Asset Management
- Building Surveying
- Housing
- Engineering (related fields preferred)
- Significant experience in managing planned maintenance, compliance, or asset management contracts.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Statutory compliance
- Building safety
- Contract management best practices
- Leadership experience, including:
- Team management
- Budget oversight
- Value for money delivery
- Excellent skills in:
- Contractor management
- Stakeholder engagement
- Communication
- Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and outstanding customer service.
