Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing)

Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week in central London office (Near Tower Hill)

About the Role

PetLab Co. is a world-leading DTC pet supplement brand with 9-figure revenue, profitable, and rapidly expanding globally.

As a Creative Strategist, you’ll bridge paid media purchasing (data-driven) and creative production (visual storytelling). Think of yourself as a data-driven storyteller: every piece of content—from hooked videos to ad copy—will be shaped by analytics, not just instinct.

This critical intersection of creativity, data, and growth marketing demands collaboration with:

  • Paid Media (direct-response optimisers)
  • Video Producers (short-form & long-form performance content)
  • Organic Social & Influencer Marketing teams.

You will drive high-converting ad creatives that scale customer acquisition and revenue.

Who You’ll Report To Jesper Mansson (Director of Creative Strategy) seeks a senior-level strategist passionate about direct-response performance and scaling content-driven revenue.

You’ll be a strategic partner to the broader team with impact on: ✔ Customer acquisition ✔ Retention strategies ✔ Creative funnel development

If you thrive at the intersection of creativity and numbers, love scalable data-driven storytelling, and want to shape a globally growing DTC business, let’s connect.

Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Performance Auditing

  • Deep-dive analysis of platform performance:
    • Meta, TikTok, YouTube
    • Key metrics: Hook Rate (3s views/impressions), Hold Rate (watch time), CTR, CPA, ROAS
  • Identify winning creative patterns:
    • Compare UGC-style tongue content vs. polished brand videos
    • Spot resonating customer pain points (e.g., "costly vet bills" vs. "stinky breath")
  • Translate data into actionable creative strategy:
    • Rotate copy, hooks, or visuals for incremental improvements
    • Goal: Transform insights into executable directional frameworks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
