Job Title: Domestic Abuse Intervention Support Worker
Positions available:
- 1 full-time position (37.5 hours)
- Salary: £24,784.50 – £25,484.79
- Location: Sandwell (on-site at BCWA residential sites). This role does not allow for hybrid working.
Closing date: 3rd August 2026
Interview process: All interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams.

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong skills in:
- Supporting victims/survivors of domestic abuse in both one-to-one and group work settings.
- Delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care in line with client needs and empowerment.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of survivors, delivering:
- Risk and needs assessments
- Support planning
- Outcomes monitoring
- Case review using a trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
- Provide high-quality frontline support, fostering trust, safety, and independence.
- Help clients make informed decisions and achieve their personal goals.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework, including:
- Engaging in MARAC processes (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences).
- Coordinating support with partner agencies to ensure client-centred outcomes.

Requirements & Conditions
- Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010): This position is female-only, as outlined in Schedule 9 (Part 1).
- DBS Check: Enhanced disclosure required due to safeguarding work.

- Two references – or an alternative professional reference if unemployed.
