Food & Beverage Assistant Part Time

Food & Beverage Assistant – Part Time

Location: Bateman House Care Home, Uttoxeter, ST14 5DU – Part of the Country Court Family

Please note: We are no longer accepting applications for sponsorship.

Hours

20 hours per week, with weekend shifts on a rota.


About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Assistant / Front of House Host at Bateman House Care Home, where you’ll deliver a 5-star restaurant and customer service experience for our residents.

Bateman House is situated in Uttoxeter, East Staffordshire, and features:

  • Situated market town ambiance in East Staffordshire
  • 76 ensuite bedrooms, blending elegance and comfort
  • Person-centred residential and specialist dementia care across two floors

Key Responsibilities

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll:

  • Serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents
  • Replenish snack stations
  • Clear tables and dining areas
  • Clean up post-meal, including kitchen & dining spaces
  • Re-lay tables and cloths

Requirements

We’re seeking a proactive, friendly, and ambitious professional with:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant, catering team member, waiter, or related role
  • Strong knowledge of food service and restaurant operations
  • Understanding of COSHH and health & safety standards
  • A fostering and caring attitude
  • Ability to engage warmly with residents and their families
  • Knowledge or understanding of dementia care (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
